11 Waterloo Court, 10 Theed street
Alma-nac is an architecture practice based in London. Over a few years, Alma-nac has built up a wide range of project experience over a broad range of sectors. The practice holds teaching posts in Birmingham and Oxford Brookes university, which alongside publication, prize short-listing, article writing and RIBA committee involvement, is building them a strong reputation within the industry.
The practice has direct experience working with residential, commercial, retail, education and leisure projects for a mixture of private and commercial clients. Individually, Alma-nac taps into a wider breadth of experience from working with some of the most reputed practices in the UK. Gaining experience on large scale hospitality, education and sustainably designed projects has provided the practice not only with the structures and processes required to deal with scale and complexity, but also the experience of working with public procurement routes and their associated teams.
Alma-nac can assist with a project from the addition of value through design to consulting on statutory requirements and construction specifications. However, critical to our approach as an architectural studio is the production of ideas. Be they small or large, it is the strength of our ideas that form the crux of all our projects.
We believe great ideas come from an in depth understanding of the environment they inhabit or the constraints with which they are bound, be they cultural, legal, environmental, physical, or even ontological.
